 Cornerstone Christian Fellowship Cornerstone Christian Fellowship in Chandler, AZ started meeting during September of 1995. They started with a core group of 60 people attending. In the past 10 years God has continued to bless their ministry and they are now over 2600 in attendance on a typical weekend. The BGC Cornerstone Fund has been there each step of the way to provide financing to help Cornerstone Christian Fellowship expand their ministries when God has led them to do so. Lending $4.4 million to the congregation in 2002 enabled them to purchase land and build their first building. They were also able to add a multitude of ministries to various age groups that would not have been possible meeting in their initial location, a local school building. Over the last 3 years in their new building they have gone from a congregation of 900 to a congregation of 2600+. In September of 2005, the Fund committed an additional 8 million in funds for another expansion project for this fast growing congregation. Associate Pastor Brent Richardson sums up his relationship with the Fund by stating, “Borrowing $8 million from the Cornerstone Fund was easier than borrowing the money required to purchase my home. No bank would have been willing to work with us like the BGC Cornerstone Fund did.” |
